Herrington Classic Homes Participates in the Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity Builder Blitz
During the week of June 1-8, 2012, Herrington Classic Homes teamed up with the Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity for the 2012 Habitat Home Builders Blitz. The Builders Blitz is a nationwide initiative to build or renovate more than 200 homes in one week. Locally, Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity partnered with six local homebuilders to build five houses in one week.
Herrington Classic Homes, along with Horizon Homes and Clark Carolina Construction, was responsible for the construction of 2 of the 5 homes being built at the Cottages in Cornerstone on Prices Lane in Wilmington, NC. Due to the importance of the Builder Blitz project, Craig Johnson and Herrington Classic Homes dedicated the entire workweek, plus over 9 months of preparation towards this initiative.
Herrington Homes wants to thank their trade partners that helped with this initiative by donating their time and talents. They include Steve Milligan Framing, Johnson Drywall, Hollingsworth Cabinetry, Bluewater Flooring, AC/DC Electric, Stroke of Color Painting, Carolina Building Products, and Risley Padula Construction. Even though the rain came down for much of the week and the working hours were long, Herrington Homes is grateful to have participated in this important project, building quality homes for families in need.

The giveaways are completely counterproductive at the low end. Builders have always advertised small incentives such as a kitchen appliance upgrade that is really priced in anyway, but for base level homes giving away cars doesn’t help when it comes to considering finance. Thanks for sharing home participation.......
Home is a basic needed component of human being for survive. The way of construction are now so developed. Many builders are there who take the total tender to build a house and decoration also. All want to make their house most beautiful and decorate with home appliances, furniture, lights, carpet etc. Paint with attractive color become very common for decoration of a house.
